The Court of Protection . . .

  • offer advice and support to deputies (one of our Partners is on the Court’s panel of deputies)
  • assist with registering existing Enduring Powers of Attorney and Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • assist in resolving disputes relating to contested applications to the Court of Protection

A Deputy is legally responsible for acting and making decisions on behalf of a person who lacks the mental capacity to make decisions.
