Agricultural Disputes

Our practice includes solicitors who are members of the County Land and Business Association (CLA), the National Farmers Union (NFU) and the Agricultural Law Association (ALA). • Planning (disputes relating to land generally and in relation to planning / construction issues for e.g. relating to the new construction of farms and outbuildings)
• Environmental disputes (pollution, statutory nuisances, waste and environmental impact assessment cases) including Environmental Agency prosecutions (Anglers caught while catching fish illegally without a licence and sewage leaking into rivers and fly tipping - dumping of waste illegally)
• Employment disputes (acting for employers and employees for farms/landowners in relation to a variety of employment disputes)
• Trading Standards (improper animal feedstuffs and improper use of fertilizers/products)
• Health and Safety prosecutions (companies/farms being prosecuted following personal injury accidents to its employees and improper use of pesticides on land)
